VARIATION
1. Delete the
Tool Allowances appearing in subclause (i) of clause 3, Wages, of the award
published 15 February 2002 (331 I.G. 387), and insert in lieu thereof the
following:

2. Delete
subclause (ii) of clause 6, Overtime, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(ii) An employee
who is required to work overtime for more than two hours after the usual
ceasing time without being notified on the preceding working day shall be paid
the sum of $1.90 as the cost of a meal.
3. Delete
subclause (i) of clause 10, Overtime, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(i) On distant
work the employer shall provide reasonable board and lodging or pay an
allowance of $47.50 per week of seven days but such allowance shall not be
wages. In the case of broken parts of a
week occurring at the beginning or end of a period of distant work the
allowance shall be all living expenses actually and reasonably incurred but not
exceeding $47.50.
4. This
variation shall take effect from the beginning of the first pay period to
commence on or after 11 September 2003.
