VARIATION
1. Delete subclauses
19.1 and 19.2 of clause 19 Public Holidays, of the award published 10 August
2001 (326 I.G. 1001) and insert in lieu thereof the following clause:
19.1 The following
days shall be observed as public holidays:
New Years Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter
Saturday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queens Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day,
Boxing Day, Tuesday following Easter Monday, and any proclaimed day in lieu
thereof for the state.
19.2 An extra
holiday in lieu of the Tuesday following Easter Monday may be substituted by
another day in the calendar year, where mutual agreement has been reached
between the employer and the employee.
2. This
variation shall take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or
after 23 March 2006.
