VARIATION

 

1.          Delete subclause (ii) of clause 42, Area, Incidence and Duration, of the award published 24 October 2003 (341 I.G. 820) and insert in lieu thereof:

 

(ii)        It shall apply to all persons employed in any clerical capacity whatsoever and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, shall include telephonists, receptionists, cashiers, messengers, copy boys, persons employed on machines designed to perform or to assist in performing any clerical work whatsoever in the State, excluding the County of Yancowinna, within the jurisdiction of the Clerks (State) Conciliation Committee excepting employees covered by the following awards in force from time to time, viz., Clerical and Administrative Employees, Hire Cars and Taxis (State) Award published 29 May 1998 (304 I.G. 1443); Clerical Employees in Metropolitan Newspapers (State) Award published 29 October 1999 (311 I.G. 823); Clerical and Administrative Employees in Temporary Employment Services (State) Award published 10 November 2000 (320 I.G. 56); School Support Staff (Catholic Independent Schools) (State) Award 2001 published 7 December 2001 (330 I.G. 166); Real Estate Industry (Clerical and Administrative) (State) Award made 21 December 2001; and excepting also employees subject to registered industrial agreements made between the union and employers or any agreements filed in variation of or in substitution for such agreements; provided that this exception shall only remain in force during the currency of any such industrial agreement or any variation or replacement of such agreement; and excepting also employers subject to enterprise arrangements as follows:
