INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION OF NEW SOUTH WALES

 

Notice of award review pursuant to section 19 of the Industrial Relations Act 1996.

 

(No. IRC 2476 of 1999)

 

Before the Honourable Justice Kavanagh

9 February 2000

 

VARIATION

 

1.          Delete subclause 3.3 of clause 3, Definitions, of the award published 23 January 1998 (303 I.G. 209) and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

3.3        "Ordinary-time earnings" means remuneration for an employee’s weekly number of hours of work, excluding overtime hours, calculated at the ordinary-time rate of pay, including the following:

 

3.3.1     Monday to Friday shift premiums for ordinary hours of work;

 

3.3.2     Weekend shift premiums for ordinary hours of work;

 

3.3.3     Public holiday loadings;

 

3.3.4     Any percentage addition payable to casual employees for ordinary hours of work;

 

3.3.5     Ordinary time award allowances (not including expense related allowances);

 

3.3.6     Overaward payments for ordinary hours of work.

 

2.          Delete paragraph 6.1.4 of subclause 6.1 of clause 6, Exemptions.

 

3.          This variation shall take effect with respect to step 2 from the first pay period to commence on or after 16 November 1999 and in respect of step 1 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2000.
