Notice of Award Review pursuant to section 19 of the Industrial
Relations Act 1996.

VARIATION
1. Renumber
the clause numbers of the clause titles 35A, Anti-Discrimination, 36, No
Further Claims and 37, Area, Incidence and Duration, appearing in the
Arrangement clause, of the award published 18 December 1998 (307 I.G. 602), as
varied, as clause numbers 36, 37 and 38, respectively.
2. Delete
subclause 30.1 of clause 30, Redundancy, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
30.1 Where a
situation arises, Preterm will pay to any Medical Officer made redundant four
weeks’ pay in lieu of notice and a severance payment in accordance with the
table set out below, up to a maximum entitlement equivalent to 38 weeks’ pay -

3. Renumber
clauses 35A, Anti-Discrimination, 36, No Further Claims and 37, Area, Incidence
and Duration, as clauses 36, 37 and 38, respectively.
4. This
variation shall take effect on and from 18 April 2000.
