VARIATION

 

1.         Delete the words “Department of Planning and Environment” and "DPE" wherever it appears in the award published 23 December 2022 (393 I.G. 886) and reprinted 9 February2024 (396 I.G. 627) and insert in lieu the words “Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water” and "DCCEEW".

 

3.         Delete the words “Chief Executive” wherever it appears in the award and insert in lieu the words “Secretary DCCEEW”.

 

4.         Delete subparagraph 7.3.3(i) and 7.3.3(ii) of clause 7, Allowances and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(i)        where meals are provided by DCCEEW, $89.85 or $3.75 per hour

 

(ii)      where meals are not provided by the DCCEEW $143.25 or $5.95 per hour

 

5.         Delete paragraph 7.4.5 of clause 7, Allowances and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

7.4.5   The rates of the allowances will be:

To be paid from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2024.

 

6.         Delete the amount “$230” in paragraph 7.5.1 of clause 7, Allowances and insert in lieu thereof “$236.90”.

 

7.         Delete the amount “$32.85” in paragraph 7.5.3 of clause 7, Allowances and insert in lieu thereof “$33.85”.

 

8.         Delete subclause 44.4 of clause 44, Area, Incidence and Duration and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

44.4    The Award shall take effect on and from 1 July 2022 and shall remain in force nominally until 30 June 2023.

 

9.         This variation shall take effect from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2024
