VARIATION
1. Delete clause
10, Salaries, of the award published 6 May 2022 (391 I.G. 1107) and insert in
lieu thereof the following:
10. Salaries
10.1 The salaries under
this award are payable to staff members appointed to or performing the duties
of any of the positions or classifications listed in Table 1 - Rates of Pay of
Part B, Monetary Rates, of this award.
10.2 Salaries payable
to officers under this award are set by the Crown Employees (Public Sector -
Salaries 2022) Award or any replacement award. They are reproduced for
convenience at Table 1 – Rates of Pay, of Part B, Monetary Rates of this award.
10.3 The salaries
prescribed for classifications in Table 1 – Rates of Pay, of Part B, Monetary
Rates of this award reflect an agreement between the parties to increase
salaries by 4% from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2024 with the
following exception for Mounted Police Grooms as below:
alignment of Grooms salaries to the equivalent clerk
general scale step 11 and step 12 effective from the first full pay period to
commence on or after 1 July 2024; and
a 3% increase to salaries payable with effect from the
first full pay periods to commence on or after 1 July 2024.
10.4 The salary
increases referred to in subclause 10.3 of this clause, will only be paid to
those staff members who are employed as at the date of effect of the Crown
Employees (Public Sector – Salaries 201924) Award.
10.5 The following
allowances are subject to adjustment in line with the salary increases:
Community Language Allowance
First Aid Allowance
Flying Allowance
On-Call Allowance
Shift Allowances
10.6 In addition to
the allowances listed in subclause 10.5 of this clause, any other allowance
applying to classifications in Table 1 which is normally moved in accordance
with salary increases is to be adjusted in line with the salary increases.
2. Delete Part B,
Monetary Rates and insert in lieu thereof the following:
