VARIATION

 

1.        Delete the word "Queen's" in subclause 23.1 of clause 23, Public Holidays, of the award published 1 October 2025 (398 I.G. 301) and insert in lieu thereof the word “King’s”.

 

2.        Delete clause 48, Area, Incidence and Duration, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

48.  Area, Incidence and Duration

 

This award applies to employees of the classifications specified herein within the jurisdiction of the Transport Industry (State) Industrial Committee.

 

This award rescinds and replaces the Transport Industry (State) Award, published 6 June 2025 (397 I.G. 2904) and shall operate on and from the beginning of the first pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2025

 

The rates of pay in this award include the adjustments payable pursuant to orders made in the State Wage Case 2025. These adjustments may be offset against:

 

(i)       any equivalent overaward payments, and/or

 

(ii)      award wage increases other than State Wage Case adjustments.

 

This award remains in force until varied or rescinded.

 

3.        At the end of clause 48, under heading TRANSPORT INDUSTRY (STATE) INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE Industries and Callings, delete the words “Transport Workers’ Union of Australia, New South Wales Branch” and insert in lieu thereof the words “Transport Workers’ Union of New South Wales”

 

4.        Delete Part B, Monetary Rates and insert in lieu thereof the following:
