1. Delete
subclause 4.2.3 of clause 4, Salaries and Classifications, of the award
published 18 August 2000 (317 I.G. 1030) as varied, and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
4.2.3 The rates of pay
in this award include the adjustments payable under the 2000 and 2001 State
Wage Cases. These adjustments may be
offset against:
(a) any equivalent
overaward payments; and/or
(b) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete
Table 1 - Salaries, of Part B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:

3. This
variation shall take effect from the beginning of the first full pay period to
commence on or after -
(i) 3 December 2001
in respect to the salaries appearing in Column 1 of Table 1 - Salaries, of
clause 2 of this variation; and
(ii) 6 months
after 3 December 2001 in respect to the salaries appearing in Column 2 of the
said Table 1.
