1.          Renumber clause 48, Area, Incidence and Duration, appearing in the Arrangement of the award published 9 November 2001 (329 I.G. 391) to read as clause 49 and insert the following new clause 48:

 

48.   Training Wage

The parties to this award agree to observe the terms and conditions of the National Training Wage Award 1994 (print N 4186) as amended from time to time. That is to permit the employment under this award of employees undertaking traineeships (including skill based and part-time traineeships) as approved by the relevant New South Wales Training Authority and the payment of persons so employed in accordance with the said Federal award.

 

3.          This variation shall take commence from the first pay period to commence on or after 18 December 2001.
