VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (ii) of Part 1 of clause 5, Permanent Part-Time and Part-Time Employees
of the award published 19 January 2001 and award review published 22 February
2002 (331 I.G. 709), as varied, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(ii) A permanent
part-time employee shall be paid an hourly rate calculated on the basis of one
thirty eighth of the normal weekly rate available for full-time employees of
the same classification.

Note:
The rates effective from 1st January 2001, and other
future variations will be in accordance with the same principles and conditions
contained in the relevant awards and other industrial instruments, applicable
to equivalent classifications of staff employed with the NSW Public Health
system.
3. This
variation shall take effect from 10 December 2001; with the salary increases to
take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 January
2002.
