VARIATION
1. Delete clause
9, Area, Incidence and Duration, of the award published 9 June 1995 and award
review published 19 October 2001 (328 I. G. 1045), as varied, and insert in
lieu thereof the following:
9. Area, Incidence
and Duration
This award shall apply to all classes of trainees who would
ordinarily be covered by the following awards:
Draughtsmen, Planners, Technical Officers, &c., (State)
Award
Electricians, &c., (State) Award
Jewellers and Watchmakers (State) Award
Mechanical Opticians (State) Award
Metal, Engineering and Associated Industries (State)
Award
Farriers (State) Award
This award shall take effect from the beginning of the first
pay period to commence on or after 13 February 1995 and shall have a nominal
term of twelve months.
The changes made to give effect to s.19 of the Industrial Relations Act 1996 and the
Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales’ Principles for Review of
Awards shall take effect from the first pay period to commence on or after 10
August 2001.
2. This
variation shall take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or
after 12 March 2002.
