REVIEWED AWARD
1. Delete clause
2, Basic Wage of the award published 18 June 1999 (309 I.G. 786) and insert in
lieu thereof the following:
This award, in so far as it fixes rates of wages, is made
by reference and in relation to the Wages as set out in the Security Industry
(State) Award published 2 November 2001 (329 I.G. 1), as varied, and any
successor to that award.
2. Delete clause
3, Parties Bound and insert in lieu thereof the following:
The parties to this award are:
(a) Australian
Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union, New South Wales Branch.
(b) Spotless Group
Ltd.
(c) All employees
engaged as security officers whether members of the Australian Liquor,
Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union, New South Wales Branch, or not,
who are employed by Spotless Group Ltd Ltd, at the premises of Orica Australia
located at 16 - 20 Beauchamp Road, Matraville NSW.
3. Delete
subclause (b) of clause 6, Definitions and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
(b) "Company"
means Spotless Group Ltd, ACN 004 376 514, located at Level 5, 476 Victoria
Road Gladesville, New South Wales 2111.
4. Delete clause
12, Area, Incidence and Duration and insert in lieu thereof the following:
This award shall apply to all employees engaged by
Spotless Group Limited as security officers at the Orica Australia site located
at 16 - 20 Beauchamp Road Matraville, New South Wales. It shall apply to gatekeepers and all
persons employed in or in connection with the industry or industries of
security or watching who would ordinarily be covered by the provisions of the
Security Industry (State) Award.
The changes made to the award pursuant to the Award
Review pursuant to section 19(6) of the Industrial Relations Act, 1996
and Principle 26 of the Principles for Review of Awards made by the Industrial
Relations Commission of NSW on 28 April 1999 (310 I.G. 359) and take effect on
26 November 2003.
