2.          Renumber the clauses in the body of the award to reflect the Arrangement.

 

3.          Delete subclause (xi) of clause 4, Contract of Employment.

 

4.          Delete clause 5C, Review Process: Facilitative Provisions and Majority Clauses.

 

5.          Insert at the beginning of subclause (i) of clause 13, Saturday and Sunday Work, the following:

 

Notwithstanding the provisions of Clause 6,

 

6.          Insert after subclause (iii) of clause 13, Saturday and Sunday Work, the following new subclause:

 

(iv)       Provided that if an employee required to perform work on a Sunday outside ordinary hours they shall be paid at the rate of double time, with a minimum payment of not less than four hours at such rate for each start.

 

7.          Delete the words "Construction Safety Act 1912" in subclause (i) of clause 14, High Cleaning (other than steam cleaners) and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000

 

8.          Delete clause 30A, Enterprise Arrangements.

 

9.          Delete the words "Security and Cleaning, &c. (State) Industrial Committee" in clause 42, Area, Incidence and Duration, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

Security and Cleaning, &c. (State) Conciliation Committee

 

10.        Insert after clause 36, Disputes Procedure, the following new clause.

 

37.  Enterprise Arrangements

 

Refer to the Enterprise Arrangements Principle of the State Wage Fixing Principles.

 

11.        Delete Appendix A - Schedule of Variations/Splinter Awards Incorporated into the Award of Consolidation for the Miscellaneous Workers’ - General Services (State) Award.

 

 

 

 

12.        The changes made to the award pursuant to the Award Review pursuant to section 19(6) of the Industrial Relations Act 1996 and Principle 26 of the Principles for Review of Awards made by the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW on 28 April 1999 (310 I.G. 359) and take effect on 23 February 2004.

 

This award remains in force until varied or rescinded, the period for which it was made already having expired.
