VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (xviii) of clause 6, Classification Structure and Wages, of the award
published 29 October 1999 (311 I.G. 823) and insert in lieu the following:
(xviii) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2004. These adjustments may be offset
against:
(i) any
equivalent over-award payments; and/or
(ii) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete Part
B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu the following:

(ii) Provided
that:
(a) No employee
employed as at 12 March 1998 is to receive less pay a result of regrading under
this award. In the event that such
regrading results in a lower grading, the present salary is to be maintained
until overtaken by award increases.
(b) Over-award
payments may be absorbed into any increase arising under this award.
(ii) Juniors
The minimum rates of wages per week for junior
employees shall be as follows:
