VARIATION
1. Delete
paragraph (b), of subclause (x), of clause 1, Classification Structure and
Salaries, of the award published 4 September 1998 (306 I.G. 452), and insert in
lieu thereof the following:
(b) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2004. These adjustments may be offset against:-
(1) any equivalent
over award payments, and/or
(2) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete
subclauses (i) and (iii) of Table 1 - Salaries Part B Monetary Rates, and
insert in lieu the following:

(iii) Juniors - The
minimum rates of salaries per 38-hour week for junior employees shall be as
follows:
(a) Stenographer,
comptometer operator, ledger posting or similar accounting machine operator,
data processing machine operator, tabulating machine operator, computer
operator, card punch machine operator, verifier operator.
