VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause 15.1 of clause 15, Classifications and Rates of Pay, of Part 5, Wages
and Related Matters, of the award published 6 October 2000 (319 I.G. 20), and
insert in lieu thereof the following:
Wage Rates
15.1 Wage Rates -
the following will be the minimum weekly rates of pay to operate from the
beginning of the first pay period on or after 16 February 2005.

(B) The following

2. Delete
paragraph 15.5.1 of subclause 15.5 of the said clause 15 and insert in lieu
thereof the following:
15.5.1 The rates
of pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2003. These adjustments may be offset against:
(a) any equivalent
over award payments; and/or
(b) award wage
increase since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and Minimum
rates adjustments.
15.5.2 The
rates of pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage
Cases of 2004. These adjustments may be offset against:
(a) any equivalent
overaward payments; and/or
(b) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
3. Delete
paragraph 18.2.1, of clause 18, Allowances, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
18.2.1 The
employers will pay an employee who is required to wear a costume or uniform
more unusual than is reasonably necessary for the performance of his or her
work, an allowance of:
(a) if engaged by
the week - $4.31 per week
(b) if engaged
other than by the week - 87 cents per performance
4. Delete
paragraph 18.3.1, of the said clause 18, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
18.3.1 The
employer will pay an employee an allowance of $1.41 per rostered day up to a
maximum of $6.88 per week, where the employee is responsible for the laundering
and/or cleaning of a uniform.
5. This
variation shall take effect from the first pay period to commence on and after
16 February 2005.
