VARIATION
1. Delete paragraph
(b), of subclause (x), of clause 1, Classification Structure and Salaries, of
the award published 4 September 1998 (306 I.G. 369), and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
(b) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2005. These adjustments may be offset
against:-
(1) any equivalent
over award payments, and/or
(2) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete Part
B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

(ii) Provided
that:
(a) No employee
employed as at 29 October 1997 is to receive less pay as a result of regrading under
this award. In the event that such
regrading results in a lower grading, the present salary is to be maintained
until overtaken by award increases.
(b) Over-award
payments may be absorbed into any increases arising under the award.
(iii) Juniors - The
minimum rates of salaries per 38-hour week for junior employees shall be as
follows:
(a) Stenographer,
comptometer operator, ledger posting or similar accounting machine operator,
data processing machine operator, tabulating machine operator, computer
operator, card punch machine operator, verifier operator.
