VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (ii) of clause 15 Holidays, of the award published 23 April 1999 (309
I.G. 13) and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(ii) In addition
to the holidays specified in subclause (i), of this clause, one additional paid
holiday shall apply in each calendar year to an employee on weekly hire. The
Tuesday following Easter Monday shall be an additional holiday for the purposes
of this clause.
An employer and an employee, or an employer and the
majority of employees in an establishment, may agree to observe an alternative
day as a holiday in lieu of the first Tuesday following Easter Monday.
2. This
variation shall take effect from 6 March 2006.
