VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (ii) of clause 24 Holidays of the award published 18 August 2000 (317
I.G. 1097) and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(ii) In addition to
the holidays specified in subclause (i), of this clause, one additional paid
holiday shall apply in each calendar year to an employee on weekly hire. Unless
agreed otherwise, the first Tuesday following Easter Monday shall be the
additional holiday.
An employer and an employee, or an employer and the
majority of employees in an establishment, may agree to observe an alternative
day as a holiday in lieu of the first Tuesday following Easter Monday.
2. This
variation shall take effect from 13 March 2006.
