VARIATION
1. Delete clause
15, Sick Leave, of the award published 18 August 2000 (317 I.G. 1030), and
insert in lieu thereof the following:
15. Sick Leave
An employee, other than a casual employee, absent from duty
on account of personal ill-health or injury due to any cause shall be entitled
to payment of sick leave to the same extent and upon the same conditions as are
applicable from time to time to the majority of employees employed in the
particular establishment in which the employee is employed. Provided that the minimum quantum of sick
leave entitlement shall be ten days per annum, cumulative to ten years sick
leave entitlements.
2. This
variation shall take effect from the beginning of the first full pay period to
commence on or after 23 March 2006.
