VARIATION
1. Delete the first
paragraph in clause 9, Public Holidays of the award published 30 November 2001
(329 I.G. 1032), and insert in lieu thereof the following:
The days on which the following days are ordinarily
observed shall be public holidays: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday,
Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen's Birthday, Eight Hour Day, Christmas Day,
Boxing Day, the third Monday in February each year shall be a holiday for the
purpose of this clause and all other gazetted holidays observed throughout the
State.
An employer and an employee, or an employer and the majority
of employees in an establishment, may agree to observe an alternative day as a
holiday in lieu of the third Monday in February.
2. This variation
shall take effect on and from the full pay period on or after 23 March 2006.
