INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION OF NEW SOUTH WALES

 

Application by The Australian Workers' Union, New South Wales, Industrial Organisation of Employees.

VARIATION

 

1.        Delete the title of the award published 2 November 2018 (383 I.G. 621) and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

Taronga Conservation Society Australia Wages Employees' Award 2020-2021

 

2.        Delete subclause 5.1 of clause 5, Area, Incidence and Duration, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

5.1      This Award has effect from the beginning of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2020 and will remain in force until 30 June 2021 and rescinds and replaces the Taronga Conservation Society Australia Wages Employees’ Award 2018-2020.

 

3.        Delete subclause 6.1 of clause 6, No Extra Claims and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

6.1      The parties agree that, prior to 30 June 2020, there will be no extra wage claims, claims for improved conditions of employment or demands made with respect to the employees covered by the award and, further, that no proceedings, claims or demands concerning wages or conditions of employment with respect to those employees will be instituted before the Industrial Relations Commission or any other industrial tribunal.

 

4.        Delete subclause 17.1 of clause 17, Wage Increases and Wage Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

17.1    Employees are awarded an increase in remuneration or other conditions of employment of 0.3 per cent payable from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2020 and applicable annual increases thereafter.

 

5.        Delete subclause 17.5 of clause 17 and in lieu thereof the following:

 

17.5    The wage increases provided for in the Award, insofar as they apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2020, will only be paid to those employees who are employed at the date of the making of the Award.

 

6.        Delete Schedules 1 and 2, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
