variation

 

1.          Delete subparagraph (4) of paragraph (i) of subclause (e), Wages, of clause 28, Training Wage, of the award published 24 November 2000 (320 I.G. 592) as varied, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(4)        The rates of pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case 2001.  These adjustments may be offset against:

 

(i)         any equivalent overaward payments; and/or

 

(ii)        award wage increase since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum rates adjustments.

 

2.          Delete Appendix A, Training Wage Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

Where the accredited training course and work performed are for the purpose of generating skills which have been defined for work at Skill Level A:

The table set out below are applicable to part-time trainees only.  It provides hourly rates of pay where the training is either fully off the job or where 20% of time is spent in approved training.  These rates are derived from a 38-hour week.
