INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION OF NEW SOUTH WALES

 

Application by The Australian Workers' Union, New South Wales, industrial organisation of employees.

VARIATION

 

1.          Delete subclause (b) of clause 2, Incidence and Parties Bound, of the Award published 31 May 2002 (333 I.G. 1095), and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(b)        Clauses 4, 7, 11 and 13 contained in Part A of this Award and the provisions contained in Part B of this Award do not apply to officers engaged as stewards.

 

2.          Delete Part B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

Table 1 - Salaries

 

The minimum ranges in which persons covered by this Award salary shall be set out as follows:

*This rate shall be adjusted in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index in a fashion provided in subclause (f) of clause 13, Salary Reviews and Additional Payments.  Any results less than half a cent shall be rounded down, with amounts equal to or greater than half a cent to be rounded up to the nearest cent.

 

3.          This variation shall take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 20 December 2002, and remain in force for a period of 12 months.
